Winnie designs and makes from her studio-workshop in Christchurch, working primarily in jewellery.
Her go-to and often unintentional place of inspiration for her jewellery is the garden and its environment – an everyday lookout to nature, a source of food, a potter-about space. She often takes the common, overlooked or edibles as the subject matter to explore form, pattern and detail.
