. Raised in Kaikoura

. Studied at the Nelson School of Visual Arts (1986 – 1989) specializing in Ceramics

. Upon completing the course, worked and taught in a pottery near Bundaberg, Australia

. Returned to NZ in 1990 to raise her two daughters

. Currently living and working from a home studio in Motueka
