Artist Statement

Dorthe Aggerholm Kristensen was born in Denmark in 1972, and studied jewellery at Sir John Cass School of Art, London. She completed three years apprenticeship in Denmark and graduated as a goldsmith.
In some of her work, she uses enameling,with splashes of colour onto different textures created in silver. She also uses gold and silver foil within the enamel. Dorthe also works with precious stones, gold and silver, and her work, especially her rings, are much sought after for those wanting a gift to express love.
Dorthe has also taught jewellery since 2002.
