Artist Profile

I grew up on the west coast of the South Island and moved to nelson fifteen years ago.

After returning from the obligatory time overseas I stumbled upon Jewellery making. I studied with Pete Elsbury in Nelson and Peter Minturn in Auckland then spent a year working with four other Jewellers at Mint Jewellery Collective in Nelson.

I have been making jewellery full time for four years now and have my own workshop at Pah road on the way to Kaiteriteri near Nelson.

I work mostly in silver, copper, gold and polyester resin.

I try to reflect both human and natural landscapes in my work by using symbols and materials that have meaning to me and represent where I come from.
