Annabel Menzies-Joyce has a Diploma of Fine Arts from Canterbury University (1978) and a post-graduate Diploma of Landscape Architecture from Lincoln University (1980).

While painting has been Annabel’s main involvement for over 12 years, recently she has become interested in the discipline of cast glass and the challenge of the technical requirements of this process. As with painting, the landscape is her particular focus, especially the relationship of form, light and colour. She is now exploring these relationships in this exciting new medium – a challenging process for her, the concepts being the same.
